Excitement is at an all-time high for UFC 287, which is taking place in Miami, Florida - also known as the 305. The main event is set to feature a long-standing rivalry between two of the UFC's most talented middleweight fighters: champion Alex Pereira and #1 contender Israel Adesanya.

Adesanya is coming into the fight with something to prove, having suffered three previous losses to Brazil's finest. With this match being a chance for redemption, fans can expect to see a striking war with Adesanya having to prove he can bounce back. Despite Pereira's undefeated record against Adesanya, Pereira remains the underdog to come across all betting sportsbooks.

Meanwhile, the co-main event will see Gilbert Burns taking on hometown hero Jorge Gamebred Masvidal. Burns, fighting out of Lantana, Florida, is known for his incredible power in the Octagon and his all out war with rising prospect Khamzat Chimaev. On the other hand, Masvidal, a Miami native, has a loyal fan base and will make sure not to upset the crowd. Still, Burns remains the favorite, coming off a dominant submission win over #12 ranked Neil Magny. This fight will decide who the true king of Florida is, and who will remain at top of the welterweight contention.

All in all, UFC 287 promises to deliver an exciting conclusion to the rivalry, while also being one of the most anticipated fights of the year.
