Star Wars : The Rise of Skywalker Releases Final Trailer
The new Star Wars movie The Rise of Skywalker final trailer will be shown during halftime on the October 21st episode of Monday Night Football.
Ticket sales for this new movie have now begun, and fans are more than ready to purchase their tickets. Fans have not only been showing their support with ticket sales, they have also been viewing the trailer on YouTube.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the final installment of the nine-film Skywalker Saga, set to hit theaters December 20. From the massive success of other Star Wars films, critics have set high expectations for this upcoming film.
The final trailer focuses on the showdown between the Resistance, led by the Jedi warrior Rey (Daisy Ridley), and the First Order, led by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). This final installment also features characters such as Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo), and finally the villainous Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid).
The relentless action pauses as the droid C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) looks out at his fellow crew members and tells the fighter pilot Poe (Oscar Isaac) that C-3PO is “taking one last look, sir, at my friends.”
This movie is directed by J.J. Abrams, who has also worked with the Star Trek franchise. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker lands in theaters on December 20. With ever-growing hype surrounding this movie, and with fans excited for its release, we can expect a massive showing.
